　　AMORPHIS跟大型唱片公司VIRGIN RECORDS 签约的消息传出后﹐其实我是十分失望的﹐因为我一向都是不太满足今时今日大型唱片公司的商业手段﹐而且我是十分害怕我深爱的 AMORPHIS 会在去到新公司后连自己的音乐作风也会变得极其商业化。开头我是不太愿意购买这张"Far From The Sun"的﹐但经过友人的推介和自己感到极有需要集齐全部AMORPHIS大碟时﹐我最后都买了这张作品。

　　得到这张作品后﹐一返到家我便马上播放﹐第一首歌曲DAY OF YOUR BELIEFS 那美丽的旋律已撤底地把我迷到﹐最初我是十分害怕AMORPHIS的音乐风格会变得十分商业化﹐但"Far From The Sun"的歌曲仍然保留了AMORPHIS一向的民谣旋律作风﹐而且结他的声色更是极之动人﹐令听众难忘﹐同时间这张大碟亦令我感受到些少 "Elegy"的感觉﹐例如那些迷幻及中东色彩﹐编曲方面﹐我认为Keyboard的运用极之不错﹐出神入化带出了七十年代Progressive Rock的味道﹐而主音Pasi Koskinen的唱功仍然保持水准﹐实属难得﹗
　　
　　虽然是转投到大型唱片公司﹐但AMORPHIS的音乐理念却没有改变﹐反而变得更加成熟。我对这张作品没有甚么投诉﹐每首歌都极动听﹐极出色﹐对我来说﹐它比上两张作品"Tuolena"及"Am Universum"要好﹐绝对是2003年最出色作品之一
